“Nursery Crimes Part One: The Ominous Overture” was recently selected by the Snow Leopard International Film Festival in Madrid and won “Best animation” for their April – May 2022 competition. I was initially invited to submit to this festival after a representative contacted me a couple of months ago and decided to take that individual up on their offer since a generous festival fee discount was included. It was a great surprise to me when, several weeks later, I learned that my animated short was selected for the festival and also subsequently won an award — especially when the “Best Animation” honorable mention simply looks phenomenal and was selected to screen at several prestigious animation festivals I would love to get into!
